In this one day class you will be introduced to the concepts integral to a Lomi Lomi session. You will learn important cultural aspects as well as the back routine which is part of the 3 day Fundamentals of Lomi Lomi class. Class price includes Washington State Sales Tax.

In this 3 day class students will be introduced to a full body Hawaiian lomi lomi massage routine as well as be taught the meaning of Hawaiian terms, Hawaiian chants, and proper protocol for each session which is essential to this style of work. This style of Lomi Lomi comes from the Big Island of Hawaii and is clinically focused working bone deep but gentle allowing for pain and stress relief as well as ease of movement. The intent of this content is to provide students with an introduction to lomi lomi massage in order to familiarize themselves with the style of massage as well as to give them a solid foundation for which to learn the advanced level of lomi lomi.

You will learn the basic techniques of Lomi Lomi and how to apply them to different areas of the body. Techniques learned can be performed on the floor or in a chair.
